EVERY PRODUCT AS A STORY TO TELL
Packed Stories wants to give back social and cultural value to local products focusing on the history and traditions behind them through packaging re-design and visual storytelling. For the Italian edition of Packed Stories, the team has chosen a peculiar cheese which is usually sold in slices. Therefore, the packaging is constituted by an eco-friendly paper bag with handles, easy to transport from the local shop. The front handle includes a detachable postcard displaying the geography, history and production process of the cheese. On the back side of the postcard there is a short narrative and Packed Stories’ website address for further information on the product and its land. As gastronomic tourism is a very important element of the product’s region, the postcard it targeted at tourists. Buying the Packed Stories’ edition of the product, they will also have a postcard, which they can send to friends or keep it with them as a nice memory of their travel.
